Alison & Mose

October 11, 2025

Mose and Alison are overjoyed to have all their favorite people in their favorite place: Paradise Valley, Montana – just 35 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. A fall foliage lovers dream in October, so dress warm, leave the heels at home, pack your cowboy boots, cowboys hats, hiking gear, sense of adventure, and join us for an unforgettable weekend in the valley. Plenty of champagne to be popped, animal watching to be had, guitar tunes to be sung around a campfire, and making memories of a lifetime – all under the stars in Big Sky Montana.

- Alison & Mose

Flower Girls

Emery Claire & Hutton Everly

These little balls of rambunctious energy are so excited to walk the aisle at ceremony field and see their Auntie Ali marry Uncle Mose.

Solo Ring Holding Groomsman

Will Boyer

The most incredible son on the planet. Lives for basketball, adventure, and the Lord. He is kind, smart, funny and shows wisdom beyond his years.

The Bride’s Page

Barrett Butler

Alison’s first and only nephew. Her buddy since birth for all sporting events. He has a thirst for knowledge, an inquisitive mind, and asks the best questions about how things work.

Parents of the Bride

Beverly & Carl Panasik

At first sales pitch, Bev and Carl were a smidge skeptical of the Bride’s in-depth presentation: Magic in Montana, yet in the same conversation, immediately on board. Bev and Carl recognize Alison and Mose’s passion for animals, nature, and their love for National Parks. Carl and Bev are excited to host friends and family away from the hustle and bustle of city life, in the solitude and glory of the untouched natural wonder of Paradise Valley.

Parents of the Groom

Debbie McClelland

Debbie is overjoyed her one and only son finally found a woman who loves, adores, and cherishes him beyond her expectations. So much that she boarded a flight for the first time in December of 2024 to see her son propose to the love of his life, first-hand. Her words to Alison, “I wasn’t gonna miss this!” Since then, Debbie has gone on record to say she’s “not ever gettin on a plane again.”

Larry Whithouse

Mose’s lovely father left this earth in July of 2017, yet he has revealed himself occasionally throughout their relationship. In the short time Larry was able to spend with Alison and Mose together, he was elated in the love they had for each other. Larry was with them in spirit at their proposal and will be with them throughout the Magic in Montana festivities.

The Couple

Alison & Mose

Almost 11 years ago, Alison’s first “big project” with the Dallas Mavericks was to remodel an old Quicksilver store in Victory Plaza (in front of American Airlines Center) along with multiple retail locations inside the AAC. The CEO told her, “go to the building, meet with a guy named Mose.” That was it. Simple, right? Probably some old dude with a plumber’s crack, suspenders, and a janitor key ring a jingling. When she walked into the meeting, her eyes met the bluest, kindest eyes on the most handsome man she had ever seen. Butterflies hit, she started sweating, then found herself stammering through a work meeting. Not only did she have on open-toed sandals in a restricted construction site (steel toe boots required) but found herself incapable of concentrating. She couldn’t even answer a simple question directly. Once she and her right hand woman, Allison Lewis, left the meeting, Alison P recalled there being only 4 people in the meeting – Allison L quickly hit her back with “there were over 20” and “did you feel that?…what are you going to do?”

Alison had been struck by Cupid’s Bow, hard… something she thought was only myth. It was love at first sight.

Mose left the same work meeting thinking, “wow…. what a creature,” and on the same note “who is this diva showing up in sandals to a construction site,” but had absolutely no idea Alison had even noticed him beyond formalities.

Only one little problem…. neither of them were single at the time, so over the next 2+ years, Allison Lewis was 3rd wheel to a series of “working lunches” as Mose and Alison P got to know each other, forming an unbreakable friendship.

A couple years later when both Alison and Mose had been single for some time, they ran into each other at Mavs game. Mose thought, “now or never” and took a leap. He asked Alison if she would meet him for a drink after the game. They have been inseparable besties ever since.

Please plan to come early or stay late to spend a few days inside Yellowstone National Park’s geothermal wonders. B&G know the area well, best places to spot wildlife, and best hikes in the park. Reach out anytime!

Asked & Answered

Yes. Sage Lodge is approximately 1 hour from Bozeman.
There are no ride sharing apps in Paradise Valley.

What is easiest airport to fly into?

Bozeman International Airport (BZN).

Is there Uber or Lyft in Paradise Valley?

No. Neither Uber, Lyft, or any other ride sharing companies are available in Paradise Valley.

Is there a dress code?

You betcha! Please refer to the “Party” page of our site for full details on suggested attire for each event.
We ask that on our wedding day you dress in formal attire with a western flare — gowns and tuxes with cowboy boots.
We encourage Western Chic attire all weekend.
Still need outfit inspo? We got ya. https://pin.it/f9weX0d8L

Cowboys boots - are they mandatory?

No, but trust us: the walk to Ceremony Field is 5 minutes down a dirt road, then through tall grass which may be a bit muddy after a rain. Heels at your own risk. It will be chilly and windy – we are in a valley after all.

What will the weather be like?

Mid-October in Pray typically features chilly, partly sunny days with high temperatures averaging 53°F (12°C). Nights are cold, average low 30°F (-1°C). October is a transitional month in Pray, with a mix of sunny and cloudy days, temperatures dropping, and chances of snow / rain increasing. Bring your warmest coat, gloves, scarves, beanies, etc. Ceremony will be outside.

Are children welcome?

While we adore the little ones in our lives, we have chosen to host an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand only the flower girls will be allowed to attend and even those little ones will depart by 8pm. To make things a little easier for those traveling with kids, we’ve compiled a list of reputable local childcare providers we’re happy to share with you.

Do I need a Cowboy hat?

If you need one, the bride and groom will have an authentic custom hat experience from Yellowstone Hat Co. at the Welcome Yonder Y’all event: Thursday night from 4-7pm, inside the Yellowstone Barn hallway. Palm / Straw hats $150. Felt Wool hats $200 – all customization additions included – branded, feathers, leather, ribbons, cards, etc! Create a unique hat to take home your own piece of this Yellowstone experience. YHC will even custom shape your hat to perfectly fit your noggin.

Nearest town that sells western wear?

Check out our ‘Things to do’ site section for the closest and best western wear stores.

Grocery Store in Pray?

There is only a General Store in Pray, so be sure to hit up a grocery store in Livingston before making the drive further into the valley.

How far is Livingston?

Pray to Livingston: 25 mi, 30 min
Bozeman to Livingston: 35 mi, 36 min
Bozeman to Pray: 59 mi, 1 hour

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving at Sage Lodge lobby no later than 3:30pm so you can stroll over to Ceremony Field and easily find a seat.

How far is Yellowstone National Park North Entrance / Arch?

The north gate of Yellowstone National Park is 35 mi / 36 min south of Sage Lodge. The north gates is in the town of Gardiner, MT home of Roosevelt’s YNP Arch built in 1872.

How far is Old Faithful and when does she erupt?

Distance from Sage to Old Faithful: 120 miles / 2hr drive
Old Faithful Eruption Schedule: https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/exploreoldfaithful.htm

Will my cell phone work inside YNP?

No. Time to bust out the old school National Geographic map!
